Medical Illustration

In the spring 2023 semester, I interned as a medical illustrator for a neurosurgeon at Brigham and Women's Hospital. During this internship, I created educational materials illustrating the retrosigmoid approach—a specific neurosurgical technique where the surgeon accesses the brain through an incision behind the ear. This project required extensive independent research on the procedure, as well as observing the surgery firsthand in the operating room. There are also some included illustrations from past projects.
